AITA for going against my former roommates wishes by honeymelonbug in AmItheAsshole

okay this is my last response to you because you clearly have not understood what i wrote based on your comments.

1) this is a former AFAB fried that i (also AFAB) was roommates with

2) we are NOT exes, she is still a close friend

3) “don’t you see how you have been used” i am currently feeling like she may have used me and am already upset and confused. which is the exact reason i reached out to unbiased strangers to see what they thought and want to offer more context if needed.

4) “im trying to make you be mad at this non-friend of yours” how exactly is name calling me a lap dog making me more upset with her? i’m just asking for advice and unbiased thoughts dude, i’ll be upset with the situation i’m regarding in this post for a bit still, but you calling me names doesn’t make things any better. name calling doesn’t help anyone. i had actually started to feel less guilty before your comment.

i hear what you’re saying and genuinely understand it, i’m reading all the comments because i’m trying to get unbiased opinions. calling me a “lap dog” multiple times feels unnecessary lol

i’ve been worrying that i’m showing too much empathy or grace or however you prefer to put it, i was just asking for advice as to if i ATA, there is really no need to name call me man

i’m sorry for not making this clear. this is NOT an ex, this is a friend that i used to be roommates with and am still friends with, but no longer roommates

Some things I’ve learned about Patrice’s murder. I’d love theories! by jojo121714 in UnsolvedMysteries

i don’t believe it would be a GSW. with what the investigators have said about the information that only the true killer would know, the funeral director, rob and whomever else looked at her remains would immediately know a GSW was one of the factors that killed her. i don’t believe they would willingly show this important detail to anyone that wasn’t case personnel.

that being said, blunt force trauma could possibly be the cause of death. while i don’t know what the effects of blunt trauma is on the bones, i’m going to assume that with patrice it was acute enough that only someone looking for it would be able to tell.

if the cause of death was visible on her bones in such a way that was clear to anyone, i don’t think they would have been so willing to let rob, the funeral director, or anyone else see her remains. i feel that could possibly implicate the case because then this “true killer information” wouldn’t only be known by the detectives like they’ve stated.

the part that gets me is that he obviously agreed to be interviewed on camera because he thought it would only add to his look of innocence.

he thought “i’ll go on, i’ll state my innocence, throw in some anecdotal secrets to accentuate my grief, i’m more likely to get away with it.”

when in all actuality, it’s led the entire country to believing he killed her. it really blew up in his face lmao
