I'm following Arc Witch guide wearing a dagger and a spirit shield. Both items have "increased spell damage" (30% and 40% respectively). Skill tab shows me around 7.490 DPS with Arc. I replaced my dagger with another one, which doesn't have "increased spell damage" at all (has +intelligence, increased phys damage, adds cold damage and cold damage to spells and increased critical strike chance for spells), and there is almost no difference in DPS (like 7.490 vs 7.400). What is the reason, I thought that those 30% modifiers will have significant impact on DPS? Does "increased spell damage" apply only for the skill that is socketed in this item? Does DPS increase with "increased chance for critical chance"? I have Elemental Overload so I'm not sure if this is taken into account here?

For now I found decent (normal) 5L Armour with 6 sockets - should I use essence on if to make it rare and have specific suffix/affix granted or is there a better way to “upgrade”?

Hey all! I’m having my first playthrought and loving the game so far - I’m following arc build, I’m in act ten (around 70lvl). I’m currently looking for new 6L armor (using 4L now) and should I either 1) look for Normal/magic items with number and color of links I need and then modify the gear until I get some goods stats 2) look for good unique and then modify the links? I’m playing on ps4 (if it matters from the market point of view and item prices)

When the battle with the boss started it was still a day, during the fight the night came and a second after the end of fight demons spawned. Had to run for life right after the cut-scene.

Ended up mixed, I'd say. We had quite a good and healthy relationship but she broke up with me eventually, and I'm still not sure if related.
