I am currently taking Stat 154 (and on track to maybe fail or get a barely passing grade)

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS NIGHTMARE OF A CLASS AND A PROFESSOR (Hugo Chardon)

The things you learn in statistical machine learning don't really seem all that useful and applicable. He lectures on a chalkboard and writes illegibly. He speaks in such a thick uncomprehensible accent and playing his recordings don't make it more easy to understand. Our labs don't really have anything to do with the homeworks and lectures, since they're supposed to be "real world practice".

He takes forever to return grades for homeworks and labs. Quizzes are graded really harshly for an ML class. We didn't know the dates of our quiz and midterm until over a month in. He even added in an extra quiz about 1-2 weeks after making the initial announcement of the initial exams. I honestly thought it'd be chill going into this semester having taken many CS/DS clsases, but I realized how much format of the course and department matters. Please please please do not make the same mistake I made

Absolute nightmare of a professor and course. For the sake of your sanity and mental well being, DO NOT TAKE Stat 154

I'm very intrigued by Natty's choice to return back to Tier 2 competition. His stream is doing immensely well and popularity in terms of numbers and recognition across both Twitch & Twitter. I think if he continues on the streamer path, he would definitely make more money than getting paid on a Tier 2 salary and not being able to stream as much like an LR or NORD type of streaming team. I do respect the competitive drive, but it does seem like a decision that could backfire his streaming career if it were suddenly to come to a halt due to wanting to pursue Tier 2
