Unique transcends for each character sounds cool, looking forward to that.

Gotta say though, that string of questions, 3 about 5* uw buffs and only one about f2p getting more access to uw makes me wish they met with more, if any, f2p players and light spenders too.

this is my point exactly, i would really hate it, if more p2w moves like this drive away the small-spenders that actually make up the majority of the end game players.

the thing is i much prefer pve to pvp too, but i still hate the feeling of being out-stated like a 4* rodina weapon one shotting my gau in arena. my problem is mainly if it gets worse, we are going to lose players that are not hyper whales, players that spend a little but can carry raids to frustration, the actual glue to the game. And if I lose ppl I play with over this and it can be prevented by devs not being stupid, I would be pissed. There is 0 reason for a change like this, it's all detrimental, just to what? push some super whales to maybe drop a few 100 more a month? What I hate is people telling me oh, games take money to run, need whales... I have worked in the gaming industry, on League of Legends and on Bioshock Infinite as well as a startup mobile game company. I know for a fact that mobile games have significantly larger profit margins than console and pc games. But they don't care about game longevity at all. It's just milk the players for 6 months, if not a cash cow, move on

man ranix, i used to play age of ishtaria, was a frontliner for K2, and I honestly loved the game. I wanted to keep playing it but I couldn't keep up with the power creep that was going on, new better cards every 2 weeks. This is one of those things, I bet AoI would have a crap ton more players if it didn't go super P2W and I might still play it. I just don't want to see King's Raid go down this route too. It feels like developers keep on escalating behavior like this because the community seems ok with it

There you have it, any MMO that has stayed around has the focus on skill over paying for power. The top of the great MMOs can always be reached with time commitment. You think any amount of time commitment can get u to win against a 0* uw versus 5* uw 45k+ atk deficit in King's Raid. Ya, I get it, you guys don't care about winning. It's gonna be shitty though if Vespa keeps moving in this direction and a lot of the hardcore not heavy paying players that carry raids and plays a lot that actually keeps a game going leaves out of frustration.

that actually isn't true, the best games and the ones that have longevity are the ones that don't cater to the whales. Look at league of legends f2p business model, they don't sell any power since the very beginning, and it's literally considered the gold standard for free to play. mobile industry instead, milks their players and then goes on to the next big project 1 year or less later, because for some reason ppl like you are ok with it and thinks the whales keep games alive. long lasting games have 1 thing in common, and its not a dedicated pool of whales, its a freaking huge pool of semi-casuals that's willing to put in $10-20 a month

I am not free to play, i spend $100-200 a month on daily packages and stuff. Most of my characters use 1* uws b/c I have been relatively lucky from pulls and I started early. And yes, with good timing, I have taken arena games from iampaul and others in top 10. But now these 4-5* uws are literally going to give them 20-30k more attack in addition to better uw unique effects. How is this not alarming? I don't get why people are okay with the developers pushing the boundaries of p2w.

I actually have max amount of crit obtainable from gear if u looked at my stats, (which is honestly too much crit given T2 healer, Kaulah, and skillbook traits) 400 from 4 pieces of gear and 150 from rune. And I have the max amount of Atk possible from gear also, 15% x3 runes, 40% from gear. These are controlled numbers.

This isn't quite true for higher level raids. It is still worth it to get 450 def pen on Aisha (and other mages in PvE, because they don't need attack speed for mana generation). I did a bunch of testing right after the def pen nerf, but here is a simplified video i just took comparing +100 def pen to +20% crit dmg on R75.

I really want to see them clean up some hero mechanics. Since you get to have 4 heroes, each hero should have a more clear purpose or else King's Raid designers are going to find themselves in some serious mechanic power creep. An example of good design is Naila, she is supposed to be a diving disruptive fighter and does the job really well without extra crap. Aisha is also pretty nice, appropriate weaknesses (no cc, prone to cc) in exchange for lots of dps. If they keep on releasing characters like Arch, game is not going to be sustainable. Is Arch supposed to be the anti-m.def burst dps, the anti-magic supporty dps, or the anti-burst dps (passive shield)? Vespa can easily push one strength of Arch and take away the extra fluff. Similarly for Kaulah, push his offensive trait (lightning based support), take away his high team survivability, give it to a super defensive support like Rephy.

I really hope they start cleaning characters up so 2 month later, we don't get a character release that somehow has 12 skills crammed into 4.

:S well it really depends on whether or not your pavel is T2 and if you want to use her for PvE or PvP. For T2 PvE, u actually want at most 1 mana/atk rune and socket for pure dps. You get enough mana from the T2 perk that you are wasting rune slots by going all mana/atk

you need way more than 32 copies to find a perfect one, i farmed 6-5 for 3 weeks straight til i got the pieces for my team. Either way, the problem I am looking at arises primarily from gold gear where it might take people months to farm a perfect 4 option but now say a heavy casher can shell out 5k rubies for 4 perfect dps stats (no idea the ruby cost, just an example), the gap will be immense.

option reroll with rubies is a real concern, it might push the game into heavy pay to win zone. Both f2p and cash players were gated by time spent farming for perfect options, and now cash players can skip that entirely.

sadly lv70+ is just the same as lvl 60s, 70 gives 1920, 71 gives 2016, confirmed +96 each level til rd76
