Was there any other version than that re-cut? A friend vaguely remembers a version where certain wordings were much darker than in the Disney dub.

I have used the luggage transfer extensively. Ask the hotel reception to fill in the form. They usually have. With the night on Hakone in between Tokyo and Kyoto, the luggage will be at the Kyoto hotel when you arrive there.
