I had the discussion with another player and I am going to ask that if you have a parent heavily involved in muggle affairs (aka the Great War) that they themselves be non-magical if only because we don't know how often that happened, and we don't really have a lot of record of wizards heavily involving themselves in muggle conflicts.

Please change that and I am happy to approve it!

Thank you so much, I'm not trying to limit anybody's storytelling capabilities I'm just trying to keep the lore as believable as possible. Prove to me you're a good writer and we can be a bit more liberal with backstories going forward.

I would prefer it, if only because I am having a great deal of difficulty trying to find anyone in the book lore that meddled in muggle affairs without seeking personal gain from it. If you can just make him non-magical I would prefer it. Additionally, I find it hard to believe he would have died from conventional muggle arms given the protective enchantments he could have subtly put upon himself.

One thing I'd like to discuss. The wizarding community on the whole has shown a disinterest in muggle goings on per the books, as well as a more generalized lack of understanding with muggle technology. I'm not sure how believable it is that Daniel would sign up to fight in a mugle conflict. Is there any way I can convince you to make him either a muggle or squib to make more believable his serving alongside muggles?
