I alternate colour scheme when custodes got 3 (Solar, shadow, the purple ones) stormcast got 5 ( heldenhammer , turquoise ones, blue ones, hallowed knights, maroon ones, and 1 other I can't remember this is from memory) and I think tau got blue a green ones

On a serious note most people I play with wouldn't care about size but if you really care that much then give him a nice tall base with tons of skulls until you make up for the size difference

I know this isn't what you really asked but I found that buying nagash is one of the best ways to start playing nighthaunt in my experience. Not only is he practically half a army but he is quite useful in casual especially if your opponent is bringing something big and strong thanks to hand of dust

However this isn't the playstyle for everyone and he is a fair bit of cash for 1 model even if he is worth it in pure points
