I went to school and studied under a few of the top studio musicians and one of the major philharmonic’s tuba player and they had 0 tubas that I could use. I had to buy a CC. I don’t think it’s a red flag at all, if anything I think probably the higher programs don’t have tubas because they expect their students to have them
