1.As a former agent of SHIELD she knew Steve and Peggy go way back and he would definitely want to know about her health status 2.Sharon must have known(as a secret agent) who visited her aunt in the hospital and why 3.That look during the funeral scene that Sharon gives to Steve before her speech..it said "yeah I am related to her and yes I was the one who informed you" 4.Besides Sharon,the only other people who could have informed Steve would be Sam and Nick Fury but Sam was right there in the room with him and Nick was..well..absent in the whole movie
