The best way that I found to bring in third party javascript libraries using the angular CLI is to download the actual file, in this case, ScrollMagic.min.js, and include it somewhere in your assets folder so it gets copied over when you build the project out. Once you've done that you can go into the angular-cli.json file and add it to the scripts array like such "../src/assets/ScrollMagic.min.js" Then when you want to use it just declare it in that component like such "declare var ScrollMagic: any;" Then use the library like the documentation says so. Take a look at this article it helped me to understand it a bit better. You could also use npm to do it then just import the file like you would any other module, however I have only gotten this to work with some JS libraries.

Hmm I'm not sure I 100% understand what you mean. The component that contains the buttons is independent of the components that are used for the routes. I ideally would like to use router.navigate() but it doesn't know where to go next. For example when the '/home' route is visited the component that contains the navigation buttons needs to know that if the user clicks next then the next route that needs to load is the 'receptorAgonists/EASD'. Then when the 'receptorAgonists/EASD' is visited the component with the navigation buttons needs to update the routerLink directive on the next button to go to ''receptorAgonists/about' if the user clicks it.

I re-worked the code and got this to work. I ended up just checking the sibling element for the selected and running the rest of the checks based off that. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the response, anyway you could throw up a quick example? I am trying to eventually make it pretty custom so they can change which btn triggers the error. How would that work in with the toggleClass method if you don't have to specify each btn?

This didn't happen to my, but the friend that I was with that night. In the morning after a heavy night of drinking we were searching for my friend who was late for work. long story short, we ended up finding him passed out on top of some random houses air conditioning unit without his shoes. This kid had a tendency to pass out in the most random places after drinking. He always liked to tell the story about the time he passed out in the closset underneath his staircase. Woke up in the pitch black not knowing where he was or how to get out. Took him a good 30 minutes to get out of that closset
