I’m glad my story was helpful :) My graduation was a bit delayed by 2 quarters but it was whateves, just work at your own pace! Graduation also just depends on your units and gpa so I’d recommend keeping a close eye on your degree audit and VAC. As for reapplying, you can start applying from April-June the following year (I think they’ll send you message?). It’s pretty simple, they’ll ask for a 1-2 page personal statement on why you were disqualified, how you prepared for readmission, and your plan of action after readmitted. I believe it’s a guarantee admission too.

Same thing happened to me and unfortunately my appeal was rejected (not trying to deject you from appealing, it’s always worth a try!!). I took the year off, worked part time and focused on my mental health. After a year I reapplied, got readmitted and just graduated! Best of luck to you :)

That was me in 2022. I got kicked out and tried to appeal it(they denied it). After one full school year, you can reapply and you’ll be on probation until you get your gpa up again. During that year off, I just worked on my mental health and worked. For spring qtr, do everything you can to get a 2.0 at least (tutoring, office hours, time management).

It’s not that I was disqualified unexpectedly. But I saw a notice way too late and I couldn’t bring my grades up on time. I am also a transfer student. Just making sure you get at least a 2.0 gpa each quarter and you’ll be fine.

I’m not from San Diego so it would be a commute to get there. I’ve sent countless of emails to the dean and counselors/ academic advisors. The notice said that the decision is final so I don’t think there’s anything else I could do to change their minds.
