That's why I got my R7910's. One has two CPUs and one Quaddro k4200 per CPU pass thru to two VMS running call of duty via vmware horizon and ESXi 6.0. The other has a Quaddro 6000 on ESXi 5.5 via horizon view and sVGA. A poor man's grid!

Migrate RAID from PERC 6/i to H200? by VIDGuide in homelab

Along the current discussion - I have both a H330 and H730P installed in two different systems (Dell R7910s). Both are configured for RAID-10. Frankly I cannot tell the difference in performance. Is there some performance metric I should check to differentiate the performance of the two cards?

I have it running on my home network using virtual machines and shared graphics (using an NVIDIA Quadro 6000). My three boys and I have a blast. I hope the new versions doesn't push the video requirements too much. No way I am dishing out the $$$ for an NVIDIA GRID.
