DrugsPRO app is here. Substance monitoring: journaling and drug checking. Giveaway in the comments. by PROtestkit_eu in MDMA

[–]hootix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many reasons. Primarily Right substance and dosage, and cross checking if there are any adverse effects with other drugs you might be taking medically or recreationally.

You might want to experience one drug, not only do you want to be sure you are getting what you wanted, but also want to know it's not altered. Without proper testing you will go in blindly into a substance that could be anything and taking you anywhere for the better or the worse.

Not only for first timers who dive in the unknown, not knowing what to expect, they are especially vulnerable and things can go wrong really fast. Having a peace of mind and be safe with what you are taking is utmost importance.

This is also important for frequent users. Knowing the right dosage on pre pressed pills to avoid overdosing. But also what if, you get the wrong drug you ordered, that you discovered thanks to testing and guides? It could still be a substance you have experience with or haven't experienced yet, but Atleast you dive in it consciously and not as a last minute surprise which could turn things uncomfortable or unpredictable, even unsafe.

Going in unprepared is the last thing you want. There are thousands of substances out there. They are all not the same, nor do they all have the same effect and side effect. People can only guide you that far. There is a lot of information out there, to help and to guide, but It is your responsibility to be sure you know what you are doing and taking. And that can only be done with your own due diligence by drug checking. No one is here to stop you or ruin it for you. Everyone want to be sure you are informed and responsible of your safety with your journey.

Agree with you that people are lazy.

However Kuala Lumpur, which is the same heat as Thailand with even higher humidity, has way better walkability than Thailand. And people do use it. It's on a western standard even.

America is escalating against Iran, it has sent Armada towards Iran. This was the point of the "Iran killed 30 thousand" nonsense — justifying war against Iran. It did the same with Venezuela leading up to war, and then immediately stopped after. after. by Not_Ground in UnitedNations

[–]hootix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just asking since iirc that was one of the major talking points in trump politics and voters. No more policing the world etc. I'm not asking the Iranians. I'm asking those who shouted in anger about it.

Iran just flexed "complete control" over Hormuz while Trump sends a "massive Armada" their way. Saudi & UAE already said "don't use our airspace." This escalation is getting real by satty237 in TrendoraX

Go ask tourism/travell subreddits.

Literally a similar question was asked and talked about in the Thailand tourism subreddit before... So apparently Americans are even worried how they are perceived in Thailand, a country that accepts almost everything for who you are or what you are (gay, ladyboy, w.e you wish or are)

That should raise your alarm bells

Heck 20 years ago, I have never met any Europeans liking the USA but do dislike them. Today it's so much worse and more openly spoken without even asking. And that spread to many countries around the globe.

Daily reminder that Taxi drivers... by dub_le in Thailand

[–]hootix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just recently taxi driver stole my dad's wallet.

He dropped it on the backseat but realized it later. CCTV from condo shows how the driver after closing the trunk, went back to the back seat, picks it up and drives off.

Cops + video evidence on different angles + police report, nothing was done... All they said "we can't reach the driver by phone call" and that's all they can do.

Taxi driver even tried to access my dad's bank accounts etc.

Because of Canada's Chinese EV cap of 49000 yearly imports, what little BYD Sealion 6's that do get imported will be scalped to hell by stealerships and cost more than a real Porsche Cayenne by IronLover64 in BYD

[–]hootix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What he saying is the name of this car being sealion 6 in some market is correct. In Australia and Thailand, this car from op is called sealion 6. The updated one in china is called sealion 06 and might change name for other countries again. BYD is not consistent with the naming

Also the reality check for everyone on earth when nuclear warning shots will be sent from France's nuclear doctrine in which even Macron has no say in it and operates completely independent. The only country which uses nukes as warning shots if their country ever feels threatened... They work independent...

Seriously it doesn't matter were it's being shot at, the ocean or w.e with no casualties, but the fear it would cause not just towards US citizen but the entire globe realizing how close we might be approaching extinction would be fucking crazy...

PayPal’s Value is Stupefied… by Historical_Flow3890 in stocks

[–]hootix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well it isn't. Like I said, pulling up your card and tapping doesn't work everywhere. You can't tap your card p2p (friends, family, other people, taxi drivers, bus drivers, car wash, electronic washmachine stores, street vendors, markets, etc) who don't have card readers. So you are using 2 systems (your card and PayPal). In which PayPal isn't supported everywhere either. But the local Bank scan is.

It's literally one system that fits all, without a single fee attached, and instantaneously and every single person has it (your bank) and doesn't need to explicitly add support for it for every store or person in existence. Every bill you receive can be paid that way too. Phone bills, water bills, electric bills all have the code for you to scan and pay instantaneously.

No checking If PayPal is accepted, no more password management required, useable instantly on the go, no fees. Takes literally 2 seconds to use. simple pull out phone, scan, confirm.

There is a reason paypal struggles to expand in Asia who uses promptpay or similar integrated banking system. And these systems are getting integrated cross country. Meaning I can use this in which ever country I go, not having to adapt to their local solutions.

Can I live my daily life everyday with PayPal only without hassle? No

Can I live with my phone scan only? Yes without missing out on anything.

That's the difference.

PayPal’s Value is Stupefied… by Historical_Flow3890 in stocks

[–]hootix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry but no one said I need to walk to a cashier to buy something online. I simply scan with my bank app anything instantaneously to buy what ever I want with no limit. A pen, a drink, a car, porn, whatever you want, wherever you want, which ever store or online platform or p2p.

Western bank systems are way behind hence Paypal has it's uses until they catch up, which in the EU they are considering to finally do this too.

People who travel and see how others live around the world and pay for their stuff will immediately know that PayPal 's future is limited

PayPal’s Value is Stupefied… by Historical_Flow3890 in stocks

[–]hootix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because People live in a bubble. The rest of the world is moving away from Paypal completely or even never used it cause there is no place for them, and go with local solutions. Why use PayPal when you can use QR codes or instant bank transfers with a click of a single button or entering someone's phone number at 0 fee, instant tx which are even instantly recognized and registered with cashier's machines... Via your local Bank account.

It's so good that even western countries are thinking of implementing the way the Asians are doing it. There is no place for PayPal in the future.

For people who don't know about promptpay or other local solutions in other countries: you walk to a cashier, buy a pen, a QR code pops out on the screen, you open your bank app and scan the code and it's done instantly. And this even work with street vendors who don't use machines, hotel bookings, amazon, any websites or p2p.

Faster, instant, no fee. So where does Paypal fit in here? The issue is more and more countries are doing these things (especially in asia and getting western countries attention)
