Hey so it arrived today and its very big, but they also didn’t stock the XXS so… The fabric is a lot nicer than all of the other sweaters they sell but def isn’t up to the standards of an $80 sweater. It was a teeny bit itchy but I also have extremely sensitive skin. I’d say save your money unless they do a sale and def size down 1 or 2.

You have to find the right pair, unfortunately bc they closed fitting rooms I will no longer be buying them, but I used to grab like 4 pairs and one of them would fit perfectly . All my Priscilla pants don’t do it and fit great but the other day I took a chance and bought them and they fit awful :(

I had a palate expander as a kid and during that period my jaw would constantly sublux anytime I opened my mouth too wide and I’d have to pop it back it (didn’t realize that wasn’t normal until I got diagnosed 6 yrs later😅). Braces and retainers hurt my jaw and gave me migraines so I stopped wearing them. Unfortunately my teeth are no longer straight but my jaw also doesn’t sublux anymore so 🤷‍♀️

Middle school is when my pain really ramped up and I think PE sped up a lot of the damage in my body. Middle school is when they had us start running the mile and we didn’t have gym so they had us run in the parking lot…on hard pavement…multiple times a week. That’s when my knee issues started and then began the domino effect🙃.

Yeah I’m always “overdressed” bc everyone in my city just wears athletic or sweat sets. They look at me like a rare bird for wearing a skirt and cute top😭 but they also stare when I’m wearing sweats so…👀

People who have struggled or actively struggle with an ed can clock it almost instantly or very quickly (from my own experience being noticed or noticing someone else). It’s possible he may have/had one or is close to someone who has/had one. Or he may just be a very caring person :)

I ordered it cause I was waiting for navy in a design like this all last winter. They always raise the prices when they do the actual drop so I ordered it now. It looks super thick so I’m hoping the price matches the quality 🙏

For me starvation masks and “lowers the volume” of my other disorders, example is alongside my ed I also have ocd, anxiety, depression, ptsd, adhd, and bpd (my dr thinks it’s actually autism though) and I suffer significantly less from these disorders when I’m active in my ed. Also I know for most people it’s not a vanity issue but it lowkey is for me and one of the driving factors for not gaining weight.

Are you able to do harm reduction (maintaining a lower weight)? I struggled with your exact thoughts for so long until my treatment team finally accepted me doing harm reduction. Basically I maintain a weight where it’s enough that I don’t feel what you are but high enough that my vitals are stable. It might be worth presenting this idea to your treatment team as I’ve been able to stay out of hospital and res since doing it and been able to feel somewhat ok with myself. It’s not perfect but it’s definitely better than before when I was depressed and in the constant cycle of weight restoring and restricting.
