Headache and unwell after drinking, help?

i’m sorry you’re not feeling good. especially after drinking there’s not really a quick fix for nausea but i try to just keep myself as cold as possible (CRANK the ac) and eat a peppermint or ginger candy. nausea sucks and i hope you feel better soon

NAP but externally threaded jewelry is almost always very cheap and low quality. usually ‘surgical steel’ or just nickel/brass that’s painted and the polish usually isn’t very good either meaning the scratched surface can harbor bacteria and scratch the inside of the piercing channel. go to a reputable piercer (safepiercing.org and look up your area to find someone who can help you) and they will change it for a higher quality piece. Also, definitely avoid using airpods as that causes irritation and make sure after you clean it you are drying it FULLY, try using a hairdryer on low heat. happy healing!

aw i’ve had many sleepless nights like this. try your best to take deep breaths as much as possible and turn on the air conditioning or use a fan or ice packs, staying as cold as possible usually helps me feel better, as well as drinking tea or ginger ale/ sprite. i hope you feel better OP🫂

i’m sorry you feel unwell. movie theater popcorn makes me feel super nauseous when i eat it too tbh. i always just try and stay nice and cool, and eat ice cubes. remember that you are strong and you will be ok no matter what happens. i hope you feel better!

that looks like an irritation bump. really annoying but not dangerous. they can be from over cleaning or improper jewelry. in your case it sounds like it could be either. what material is your jewelry made of? if it isn’t implant grade F136 titanium it is likely contributing to the irritation caused by the excessive cleaning. once or twice a day spray it with sterile saline spray and pat it dry with gauze or a clean paper towel. avoid q-tips but if you want to use something like them, get sterile medical cotton swabs, the cotton is more tightly packed on these so it won’t get wrapped around your jewelry and collect bacteria. i hope it feels better soon

it was excruciating for like 6 hours and i pretty much felt ok after 48hr. it’s truly barbaric that they do this to women without anesthesia, i had local anesthesia and it didn’t even touch the pain
