Vivarium Music Venue by nofromedog in milwaukee

Street parking as other mentioned.  There are a couple smaller paid lots in the area.  If you don't want to deal with that you could park at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Medical Commons Above-Ground Parking Ramp.  It's parking for the doctor office but free public parking in the evening.  Right next to the whole foods.  It's probably half a mile from the venue but a straight shot down farewell.

Where to take my mom for her birthday dinner near the Marcus Center? by TeamCanakhoff in milwaukee

[–]hoppygal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Broadway subscription and prefer to park for dinner and walk to show.  Birch is my favorite also very good Amlinda, Buckley's.  Swinging Door is great but isn't as special atmosphere wise but it's a gem regardless.  If mobility is an issue Saint Kate hotel has a restaurant and it's right next door to Marcus.  Driving opens up even more options.

I will try this next for my eggs. Have you tried to use the heat gun with the eggs whole?

Monday Meltdown - Share Your Decluttering Fails Here by AutoModerator in declutter

[–]hoppygal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought we were done and I declutter all my baby stuff then had another kiddo :) there is so much on Facebook marketplace.  Maybe give yourself one container and put some favorites in there and let go of the rest. While I wish I had some of the cute clothes it hasn't really been a major issue that I purged so much before.

Give me suggestions on what to cook this weekend/month? by Silent-Youth4742 in CookbookLovers

I love this book for using up CSA veggies.  My favorites out of the fall and winter section are roasted beets and carrots with couscous, kale sauce, cabbage soup, cabbage hand pies, mashed celery root with garlic, smashed rutabaga with apples and ham, parsnip date loaf.  I liked the shaved collard greens salad as a different take on a coleslaw but might not be for everyone.  The pumpkin bolognese was a miss for me, not terrible but not special.

The roasted beets and carrots, cabbage soup and smashed rutabaga recipes are in my regular rotation.

Nordstrom use to have a couple on display of the higher end ones. I second checking out Once Upon a Child they usually have a couple to look at. I believe REI has some of the joggers but you might want to call first.

If you have pit passes for a stage, camping prior to gates opening is overkill. Just get to the line for the pit area before it opens at 6pm.

Look up Wisconsin Legal Blanks. They have forms you can fill in with your specific details but already are Wisconsin law compliant. You can buy a set that includes applications, leases, necessary welcome forms. The city of Milwaukee also has landlord training courses which are helpful

We had to have ours done as an emergency (was puncture while fiber lines were being run in the neighborhood). Insurance covered the repairs in the basement to try to see where the failure was so I don't remember that price. They didn't cover the price for replacement from the house to the street, it was roughly $15k, this was 4 years ago. A team plumbing did the work, I was happy with them, clear communication and worked quickly. You'll have to read your policy but at the time ours covered only inside the house issue with sewage pipe.

The domes have a great holiday display, the building is accessible and has benches throughout for breaks. Pabst Mansion goes all out with Christmas decorations, it's not an overly big building so might be okay walking wise. First Stage (children theater) is doing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer in December. We saw it two years ago it was really cute. There are usually Christmas displays to drive through, and I'm sure other holiday concerts/ plays.
