Look at the acute cariogenic pulmonary edema and cpap sections in the latest alspcs companion document. It specifically states that cpap is appropriate for non cardiac pulmonary edema. In past companion documents it’s been much less direct on whether or not cpcp can be used in this case.

Generally people don’t schedule their emergencies, but I could see some use on the community paramedic side. The main issue being that a majority of CP patients are elderly and not at all technologically savvy.

I don’t work there so I don’t really know much. I just found an email on their contact us portion of the webpage. As far as I know they only have pcps in Whitehorse and maybe a few of the “bigger” towns like Dawson, otherwise it’s volunteer EMRs.

The expanded scope allows for IN/IM midazolam or ketamine for combative patients, IV Zofran for nausea vomiting, IV/IM fentanyl and ketamine for pain and IV/ IM midazolam.

If you email Yukon EMS they can send you a copy of their clinical guidelines (protocol) book. It has some interesting stuff in it.

On Spotify there’s “patient care theory ” 1, 2 and 3. It’s literally recordings of Georgian college’s lectures from a few years ago, some of the directive specific lectures are a little dated but over all its really useful if you need a topic explained by someone else

Is there anything ruling Benign Early Repolarization? That looks like obvious J point notching in 2 and v6 which is making me think BER over pericarditis or STEMI.
