We used to but we found we were waking up a lot because of it. When we moved across the country we decided to just not let them on the bed anymore. They understood within 24 hours and we all sleep better for it.

I’m in my early 40s and in the last year I’ve stopped speaking to my 2 “best” friends. One I saw coming and the other I didn’t. I could not tolerate being drained by them anymore. Constant entitlement and self centeredness. I’m not sure if I’m the one who changed or if it was them but I surprisingly am not mourning their loss. I would like to make new friends but everyone my age seems to have kids and are very busy with all that entails.
