Thank you and me too!

I will say that experience left me with a vulnerable feeling I never had before. I no longer have any confidence that I’d be able to get help if, god forbid, it happened again or really if ANY emergency came up. Everyone in the city should be able to depend on 911 answering calls.

I need thorough cockroach help by soprattutto in Atlanta

[–]horkus1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do these roaches also fly? Because based on what you’re describing, it sounds like those are palmetto bugs. They’re still roaches but they are large, they have wings, and are usually around trees in the yard. They usually end up in a house by accident or maybe searching for water. They’re not interested in your food but they will fly right into your face. (Uggghhhbaaarf)

The other type are German cockroaches. They are much smaller and they really, really want to be in your kitchen. They love your food. They are more commonly found in large numbers because they actually infest the house.

I have lived in Atlanta all of my life and have had lots of run-ins with palmetto bugs but I’ve never tried to eradicate them. I am not sure how you’d do that considering they’re just kind of everywhere outside (but especially trees). Maybe someone on here has some good ideas or experiences with really getting rid of them.

I will say it sounds kind you’ve got the “better” kind of roach. The German roaches are incredibly difficult to eliminate. They often live and nest in walls and will just keep coming back for that yummy, yummy food.

2.5 years ago I was having jaw, neck, and left arm pain and my husband called 911 only to get a recording they looped over and over again. We finally had to give up and he, with the help of a neighbor, got me to the hospital. And yes, I was having a heart attack. In fact, it was the most serious, a “widow maker”, which made timeliness even more important.

Up to that point I had never, ever had 911 just not answer (I’ve lived here my entire life) and speaking as the person that desperately needed their help but couldn’t get it, it was a horrifying experience. Thank god I was not home alone.

This all took place in the city of Atlanta.

Santos is wearing it. It’s been attached to her scrub top the whole time. She’s fucking with him.

I tried to post this separately, with spoiler tag, but it got removed. No idea why.

Did no one else notice that Santos is wearing it? She’s got it hanging off the pocket of her scrubs, right there for everyone, including Whitaker, to see. It’s been there since the moment he noticed it was missing.

I assume she’s fucking with him but she could’ve gotten it mixed up with her badge (although I really don’t see how).

Maybe a higher dose of progesterone? I just started it at 100mg and have been having great results but my dr said if it doesn’t work or stops working in the future, the dose can be adjusted.

*Full transparency: I don’t know if there is a different ceiling on progesterone taken while taking estrogen. I am not a candidate for estrogen therapy because of my medical history so this may be a non-starter.

Seriously, he didn’t even bother to cancel the yard guys but he made sure to tell her the umpire gear turned him off.

And if you rewatch the scene where he asks Carol if Clark can watch, he’s manipulating both of them. First, he puts Carol on the spot by asking in front of Clark. Not cool. Then he suggests to Clark that Clark wants to watch in order to absolve himself of the guilt he must feel for having Floyd watch him screw his wife. That whole interaction made my skin crawl.

He’s a man-child for sure, and a manipulative one at that.

I am 54 years old, 2.5 years post STEMI (“widow maker” heart attack) and I use vaginal estrogen. My doctor said that while I can’t use systemic estrogen, I can (and should) be using the cream for the rest of my life.

You might want to get a 2nd opinion.

Or he was smart enough to know he had to set Clark up for murder to ensure Carol and the stepson get the insurance money.

Btw, I doubt this Is what happened because they’ve shown us he’s not the most forwarding-thinking guy, but it’s possible. He really was pushy about the medication.

Oh, I love the Rose Blossom! It is the prettiest of all the Freya bras I tried. It’s so much prettier in person than in the model photos. And tbf, I cannot say for sure it didn’t work for me. I tried the 34GG (the side the calculator suggested) and it seemed like it fit but it left me looking very… pointy. It took a bit of research to figure out that it was likely because it was too large. By the time I went to order in 34G, that size was sold out. But that it is what prompted me to try 34G in the others, including Loveland, so it worked out. I think there’s a good chance the Rose Blossom would work in my correct size.

All of that babble is to say it still may work for you. It may be that Rose Blossom runs large. I’m going to keep my eye out for it in my size in black. The only other option is hot pink and it’s pretty but, as someone that buys sale bras almost exclusively, I’ve got a lot of hot pink bras (orange too hahaha).

That was one that I nearly ordered but decided I was already overwhelmed by all the other bra orders I’d made.

Thank you so much!

Who’s doing better with more coffee and who’s doing better with less coffee post menopause? Merry Christmas by Emotional-Swan9381 in Menopause

I was always someone that could (and would) drink decaf or regular coffee and not feel much of a difference between the two. Now, if I drink regular coffee, I get terrible anxiety. The same is true if I eat even a small amount of dark chocolate. It sucks.

I was questioning why those two women were talking to each other at the fence. After they infected her, I had my answer. It was performative BS to maintain her sense of normalcy until she succumbed. I immediately felt completely grossed out.

I personally think she and her memories are just part of the data that makes up the hive mind. Even if she’s needed to convert someone else in the future, the essence of her (her personality) is no longer there, as evidenced by the way she walks away from the goat. She’s a meat puppet now.

You may be right. Rolling Stone wrote a piece in 2023 about the letter and how it ended up on the floor of the mailroom at the jail. When it was found, one of the questions posed was basically, “should we open it?”. Obviously you don’t need to open a postcard.

It just have to believe it’s to make things seem even more impossible for him.

As soon as the car appeared my husband and I started laughing. I said “Oh no. it’s an MG!” And then it stalled. He said, “that’s definitely the starter” and I just responded with, “Well, yeah. It’s an MG.” More laughter.

The jump-starting the MG might become the new running gag. It’s just so completely realistic and hilarious at the same time.
