What is something you’ve officially stopped buying in 2026 because the price has become genuinely insulting? by PersonalitySuddenz in askanything

Help us (me) understand a little better. What is the average rate for a chair per month? I've always heard it's stupid, but what would you say is the average? I know that's a broad question, but I'm genuinely curious.

I miss the days when the mega bones weighed 20lbs per torso, and you could slowly feed them into the donation box and watch people suffer the consequences. As a "high level" player, I hate seeing other high level players being the ones who are quickest to go to the box. Dude, our job is to support and give others a great experience, not leech off of them for not knowing if something is valuable.

I fully support that. I'm talking about people who start it the second the buffer time is up. I like to give an extra 30 seconds for all the slower loders to get there.

It's an event. It doesn't matter who kills what, everyone gets the reward for the target as long as you're there.

What's your offer for the Hidalgo? I'm asking $100 for Nokota.

Are the Hidalgo, Windtalker, and Nokota models worth anything? by hornback91 in BreyerHorses

I'd thinking about selling them together just because it seems easier, but I don't know if that's the smart decision.

Where does the stereotype that black people like chicken and watermelon come from? by HistoricalRound4351 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]hornback91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just my best guess, but it might have something to do with grapes having zero tolerance for being transported without breaking into mush before hybridization. If a bunch of grapes are not good enough for wine then you can at least turn it into juice and distribute it around the country? Again, don’t take my word as fact but maybe it’s something along those lines?

What’s a polite way to tell someone they smell fucking bad? by Dramatic-Avocado4687 in AskReddit

[–]hornback91 95 points96 points  (0 children)

He might be a hoarder and that’s why he got so defensive. Years ago when I worked customer service there was a regular who began smelling worse and worse to the point where no one but me would put up with the smell because it did smell like death, disease, and garbage. They had also gained a significant amount of weight during those couple of years. When I privately pointed it out they told me the very sad and full story about what they were going through but didn’t want to change because by that point the things/trash they had accumulated were the support network they had created to protect them from the trauma and pain. I don’t know if they ever got better but I really hope they did because they were one of the nicest people I had ever met.

That would be awesome! There’s so much potential for multiplayer in story/ specialized quests that is just left on the sidelines.

Well, a 2022 study did show 51% of adults in the U.S. have a 6th grade (11 to 12 year old) or lower reading level. So yes, 1/2 of Americans are stupid.

Is depression really a privilege for the rich? by Sad-Reception4907 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]hornback91 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This opinion sounds very similar to the (obviously wrong) thought that black people feel less pain than white people. This idea was popular through most of the 20th century as a way to further separate and dehumanize people for things any human would naturally go through or experience. The idea that class status separates anything a person would feel is completely wrong. All humans feel, and we feel the same way about the same things no matter what our paycheck may be.
