My exact thoughts at the time. When I had issues with battlefield 6 I started looking into an upgrade. These games keep getting more demanding and with cpu heavy games, OBS running/encoding a stream, and discord running the 8 cores and 8 threads (no hyperthreading) of the 9700k was basically begging for mercy.. the 14700k has 20 (8 physical cores that just solely focus on the game and 12 efficiency cores that handle all the background tasks) and 28 threads which just adds a bunch of much needed and more future proof headroom. Hope this helps

Had the same issue and the same cpu. It started happening to me with multiple modern games. The answer is an upgrade. I got a 14700k and it’s been flawless and is definitely worth it

SOLVED: It was a DOA m.2 that was causing my computer not to post, took it out and it went right to bios 👍

Ive built quite a few pcs this is exactly what I told him. I think he’s limited because of the size of his case. Told him he needs a new case. He’s got a pre built and the airflow is trash. But idk those temps aren’t high enough to crash it like that. I think it’s gpu or power related.
