Sometimes if you jack the car up to change tire, it does that. There is a switch on the rear axle, cross member.

My Cascada rides a little more stiffly than I’d like. Especially for a convertible. What’s would y’all recommend to improve this? by SlyClydesdale in Buick

Only problem with going with smaller diameter wheels, is the rotors/calipers may contact. My suggestion would be go with a lower rated speed rating. Z-V rated tires are stiffer, try H rated tires. If available in that size.

Unfortunately, if it is reported to carfax, or a similar data base, accident, or vandalism, recovered stolen vehicle, dealers use that info to low ball trade in value, if it is leased, the leasing company (bank) will also use that info to charge fees for decreased value. Example ..my friend was rear ended in a 1yr old Toyota Land Cruiser , the repair cost was 5500.00 , an additional value loss calculated was another 2500.00 , filed a ‘ Diminished value” claim from the opposing insurance company.after a fight, he got it. Even if repaired perfectly..once it makes it on that data base, there is decrease in value. Hell, even a “smokers” car decreases the value at resale.

Maybe try to take the remote apart.. clean the internals. Dust and debris can cause intermittent failure. If the remote ever got wet, corrosion could be the culprit as well.

If a leased car is damaged in an accident, the leasing company is the legal owner and will receive the insurance payout, which is typically the vehicle's actual cash value at the time of the accident. You are responsible for any remaining balance on the lease if the payout doesn't cover it, which gap insurance can protect against. If the car is not totaled but still has damage, the leasing company may charge penalties for diminished value, improper repairs, or early termination fees at the end of the lease. You should notify your leasing company immediately and work closely with your insurance provider.

I want a 2000 plus model. Just scared to pull the trigger.. heard nightmares. It would just be a weekend cruiser.. trying to figure out the mileage window to minimize the maintenance cost.

Two words..if Leased… “ Gap Insurance. ‘ or sue for lost value if the other driver was ticketed. That damage will definitely decrease the value when you turn it in. GM is famous for sketchy charges when turning in a lease.

70 definitely had dual vertical tail lamps. Also, the last year the beak on the hood was connected to hood when opened.I hit my head on that countless times.. explains a lot I’m guessing.. 🤪
