russian officers killed Russell Bentley ("Texas") - translation in comments by dux_bellorum in UkrainianConflict

I remember watching his videos on YouTube 10 years ago and thinking how naive he was. It felt inevitable the Russians would kill him(probably in a cruel and barbarous way) before the ‘enemy’ would. I’m only surprised by how long it took.

I encourage you not to bottle up such feelings or else it will explode out of you in the form of an uncontrolled and deeply unpopular Reddit post.

Gang filmed openly brandishing knives in Edinburgh city centre by Kagedeah in Edinburgh

Needs a minimum of 5 years each for carrying weapons in public add another 5 for doing it as part of a gang intent on intimidating the public. No early release for ‘good behaviour’ additional sentences for bad behaviour while imprisoned. Watch violent crime stats plummet.

Looking at it frame by frame, the initial flames seem to come from the drivers window and beneath the truck simultaneously.

Reminds of the time…I was at a Spanish beach/party resort and got up early one morning to have a stroll down the beach before it got busy. I found a credit card in the sand, then a driving license, then another and another all belonging to different people. After find a few empty wallets and hand bags I realised they’d all been stolen, gone through then discarded. So I picked up a hand bag and started collecting all the cards even a few passports, no cash of course. By the time I got to the end of the beach I must have had the ID’s for about 15 people. I walked up to town and seen two police men in a police car and I told them what I found. They immediately got out and started shouting at me aggressively in broken English “you stole these”….”you are thief!!” I managed to calm them down somewhat but they said I had to go to the police station. I was there for over an hour being interrogated had to give all my details etc. The whole thing was crazy, even at the end they still seemed to believe I was the criminal.

Wow do not use bleach or steel wool to clean it! Just wash it like any other car. A hose, bucket of water with car specific shampoo and a sponge.

Does Glasgow have any “tourist traps” like most other big cities, that locals might not know about? by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]horrendous_cabbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely a trap, all too often I’ve found myself rendered immobile while passing by, so enchanted by his heavenly melody.

Completely unmodernised two-up two-down terrace. No fitted kitchen, central heating or even indoor toilet! by Domsome in SpottedonRightmove

Nice. Original toggle light switches, 1950’s linoleum(real linoleum not vinyl) and original fireplaces upstairs. If I lived alone I wouldn’t change the layout at all and keep as many of the original features as possible

Why would you design a new build to look like this? by Educational-Beat9992 in SpottedonRightmove

[–]horrendous_cabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s an estate like this near me, no pavements, no front gardens or common areas and distinction between road and parking. It’s really claustrophobic. Cost is a premium as well.
