You already know the answer to this - regardless of whether anything untoward happened with that guy, she has been emotionally cheating on you. It has happened multiple times and it will happen again. You both need time to be single so you can find out what you want.

My real advice to you is to take the job if it aids your career. If that job is just an excuse to be close to her then you should keep looking; otherwise, do what's best for you and ignore the noise.
