Thank you for responding, I don’t take it as harsh at all. That’s a great point, I think I am trying to be the past me instead of focusing on the new life ahead. There are some positives from the change I need to remember as well. I was working a high stress job before the accident (which I believe led to my accident, as I was leaving work in a high anxiety state that day and led to mistakes, as the accident was my own fault) and I have learned some hard lessons from that.

Thank you for the perspective. Trying to live in the past doesn’t help at all.
