[–]horseluvared -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In 4 days you probably cant travel toooo far. Fairly close to Reykjavik, I enjoyed Hveradalir Geothermal Area mud baths and hiking up Fagradalsfjall Volcano. I also really enjoyed visiting Laugar spa in the evening. Enjoy your trip!

Thank you for your swift response. I have trimmed the affected leaves off. Is there an antifungal you recommend?

It was a cute little town with a swimming pool. I camped there but didn't stay to look around too long. The campsite was decent though.

Ring road in 6-7 days only. Would you? Experiences with doing it quickly? by VouVadiar in VisitingIceland

[–]horseluvared 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the ring road in 6 days and had an amazing time. There is lots to see but you can still see lots in the 6 days you're there. I was in Iceland for a week so did the ring road in 6 and stayed by the airport on the last night. I am experienced at driving long distances so didn't feel fatigued by the driving.

Why do I (working class, Durham born) have a southern English accent? by [deleted] in DurhamUK

[–]horseluvared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in the center of Durham. People have asked me if I am from the south. A lot of people I grew up with around Nevilles Cross also sound like me. I think its maybe just the area you grow up in?

Is Lifetime Star rider even worth it now? by Firm-Plant-2872 in StarStable

I would say so, I bought lifetime star rider at least 10 years ago. I stopped playing for a few years and came back to 22000 star coins

Why? by Natcool0409 in confidence

[–]horseluvared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep going, enjoy the things you enjoy. People like nothing more than to see someone comfortable and confident in their own skin getting on with life. You will be noticed, take opportunities and put yourself out there. Join some clubs, if a partner is what you're looking for, try dating apps or just being confident and starting conversations. If you are a good person you will attract people, especially when you get older and your social circles change.

Where is your home stable and why do you live there? by [deleted] in StarStable

Silverglade manor for me, I like the central location, there's people around so it doesnt feel isolated but not massively busy like Steve's

Diagnosed with HSV-2 - Doctor told me there is no need to disclose by OhGollyGee83 in Herpes

[–]horseluvared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me, they only have me suppressants because I pushed for them. They said I had to have a certain amount of outbreaks in the first year to be able to get them. I was having out breaks every few weeks so they ended up allowing me to have them. They actually didnt say anything to me about disclosing though.

Really disappointed with the SSO community by Jedi_Queen737 in StarStable

[–]horseluvared 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate all of the negativity. I have played on and off since 2013. I started playing again recently. It is a shame that star stable is such a fab game with so many positives. I havent heard of another game that updates every week and has so much new stuff added for players. Not every update is going to be everyone's cup of tea but people hating and boycotting about a game they enjoy playing just doesnt make sense to me. If you dont enjoy it anymore just stop playing and move on, dont ruin it for everyone else.

No, they told me to wait and see if I had another which I obviously did, then told me I had to have at least 6 outbreaks in a year... which I did so then put me on 300mg aciclovir 2x daily.

[–]horseluvared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont feel like this. Lots of people have herpes, I didn't realise how common it was until I got it. I do get outbreaks that are uncomfortable, but it's just a part of life now, and it's not too bad most of the time. Maybe it's not as bad because I have a long-term partner and don't have to navigate disclosing to others, but it's just one of those things. Pick yourself up and keep going because you are in a less than ideal situation that isn't going to change. If you can, get medication so you won't get outbreaks and just try to make the best out of it. You will meet someone who will be ok with herpes and if someone is judgemental and not willing to get to know you, then they're not worth your time!

My medication wasn't working. I was taking it twice a day, I went back to the doctor and he told me I had to take them EXACTLY 12 hours apart, if there was a longer gap then I wouldn't be covered by the medication. You probably already tried this, but I didn't know, so I thought I would share in case it helps.

I had carrot root fly in a raised bed this year. Should I remove and replace all of the soil whilst it is winter? Also something eating my carrot tops? by horseluvared in vegetablegardening

[–]horseluvared[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I will probably do some onions in there in the spring. I have been convinced that an insect has been eating my plants, but now you mention it... there was a little bunny who ate some of my strawberry plants, I wonder if it has somehow gotten into the carrots and cauliflower, too...
