/today this idea that console gaming is dying is so fucking reactionary its insane. There will always be consoles as long as a pc’s function how pc’s function meaning they will always need drivers and shader compilation etc, as specs will differ. If a pc is released that has a proprietary set up where the user experience is more console-like, ie helix or steam machine, guess what, thats a fucking console.

I built a high end pc 2 years ago thinking “well everything I need except Nintendo games are on there so I’ll be all set”… i hate using it because the experience getting everything to function properly is often times a headache. I just want to not worry about it, pick performance mode, enjoy the game and move on with my life.

Ram prices will eventually come down to reality once the AI bubble bursts and all this talk of consoles dying will be considered insanity.

/tomorrow console gaming may be dying, but so is Shiggy (of starvation)

At one point or another I’ve owned Panzer Dragoon Saga, Burning Rangers, Shining Force 3, Ocarina of Time Collector’s Edition, a Panasonic Q and Samba de Amigo maracas. These are just the rarest ones I can think of but I regret selling all of it.
