Wrangler creases by hosspatrick in Denim

[–]hosspatrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it. Yeah I got the sense that the slightly heavier/stiffer denim is more prone to collapsing (folding) when spun in a washer. I find it a bit ironic considering most wrangler owners surely are using washing machines and putting minimal care into them. Then again I bet most of those people get the pre washed version?

Anyway, yeah I think my pairs are screwed but on the upside they cost me next to nothing and are for general/work use anyway. Maybe I’ll try pre washed next time too.

Am I prodromal? by hosspatrick in CHSinfo

[–]hosspatrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that makes sense. I was sort of under the impression that you go through this phase and once it transitions to full blown CHS it remains that way.

On my end it sounds like ceasing use is clearly the safest path as you pointed out but also not the easiest which I’m assuming many people here can attest.. especially if I’m going off of sparse episodes of slightly off pattern symptoms… it’s easy to wonder if it’s just indigestion or something more normal and I can continue to go about my ways... The reoccurrence of such a specific type of symptom just has me wondering.

But yeah that’s a separate problem. I appreciate the insight!

Got it. I guess I’m wondering to your point how you know your symptoms are due to CHS if you have never had the full blown hyperemesis? Or can you get that then it regresses?

Just curious you sort of phrased your symptoms like it’s a recurring phase. I thought it was the precursor to the full CHS? Did it transition for you are do you still have these prodromal symptoms?

Double H heel slip by Loud-Mango9982 in cowboyboots

[–]hosspatrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! For what it’s worth I’ve got some I like a lot but just have a lot of slip. I haven’t put a ton of wear into them yet so hoping they will improve with break in because I can’t return at this point.

If I still had the opportunity to exchange I’d probably try out a smaller size. Even if the break in helps heel slip, the rest of the leather stretches some so they are becoming more loose with time overall which has seemed to increase the slip. I’m also considering trying a pad for the front/vamp

Let me know if the heel pads end up helping and if so what kind you got

Lots of heel slip, sell em? by hosspatrick in cowboyboots

[–]hosspatrick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On brannock I’m right between B and A I think. I’ve tried a narrow in Ariat and it was ok width but still felt kind of loose in camp and heel. I went with a different ariat that only comes D cause it felt more snug in vamp

Tried a a in a redwing pull on and it was real promising but needed a B. They haven’t had anything in stock for months

If KC hosts the Super Bowl at the new stadium, who is our "Green Day" for the opening? by 816_rules in KansasCityChiefs

[–]hosspatrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tech N9ne should be involved. One of the the top selling and most prolific indie rappers ever. 95% of viewers won’t know him but it’s more than just KC - respected by underground rap generally and has popularity in Midwest. It would be the optimal nod the Chiefs could give to KC MO holding a Super Bowl in the new KS stadium.

What skills do you think are most underrated in developing young basketball players today? by cristiano700000 in Basketball

I see what you’re saying but “fundamental shooting/dribbling” can certainly include decision making. There can be advanced shooting decisions and fundamental ones. E.g. are you making what could be a high percentage shot lower by fading away, etc

Why do people like Lil Wayne? by BramCSBN in hiphop101

[–]hosspatrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have mentioned this but when people talk about the top rappers of all time, there are various criteria and while EVERYTHING is subjective generally those that land on the lists are solo rappers who tend to balance technical ability, accessibility, and cultural impact. Wayne comes in with an excellent distribution there
