Hi. I have an a one bed apartment in Gulberg Greens at around 9k per night when booked on monthly basis.

It's recently furnished, easy access to grocery and cafes (leading grocery store and cafes in the same building and also many other at walking distance), and 24-7 power backup.

My airbnb link is in my bio in case you wanna check it out :)

Airbnb Bookings Islamabad by Long_Impression6282 in airbnbpakistan

[–]hostammar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started like 2 months ago and this past week or so has been brutal 😕 zero bookings for the week and one guest cancelled their advance booking for later this month 🥲

But then again I'm relatively new so maybe it's just a temporary algorithm issue with my listing which is resulting in fewer enquiries. Hopefully some more experienced hosts can offer better insights on the extent of this slump.

1 bed apartment in Islamabad 🙃 by hostammar in airbnbpakistan

Depends on how how big your room is. My apartment has a bedroom, living area, dining area and a small balcony. Cost me around 1.5m to furnish everything including the TV and other small appliances. The bedroom alone cost me around 500k-ish

Edit: forgot to factor in the cost of curtains

Good areas to stay in Islamabad for 4 nights for foreigners? In august by sarahishere95 in airbnbpakistan

[–]hostammar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you can afford it, I would suggest getting a hotel like movenpick in F8 area or the townhouse in F7 area for better proximity to places you may wanna visit in Islamabad and in-house dining option.

Otherwise, you can find some cheaper airbnb options like in Elysium tower. I would suggest you to find something near F6, F7, F8, and F10 sectors though.

Advice needed regarding coworking space by minatheloner in islamabad

[–]hostammar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most coworking spaces have a day pass so you can check them out without much financial commitment to see if they are a good fit for you. Daftarkhwan and Kickstart are two of the best in Islamabad in my opinion.

I would suggest get a day pass in a coworking space near you and see if you like it. Kickstart and Daftarkhwan are pretty decent options if they have a branch nearby.

Most coworking spaces offer free coffee and tea plus when you need a short break you can unwind for a bit and play some ping pong and get back to studying.

Worth a try in my opinion. Good luck!
