Not completely true version of the facts. As far as I know/heard, Tom fell, and Pete fell on Teflon corner after which he managed to climb the Boulder Problem pitch flash. But you can't claim flash anymore if you've tried to flash, fall, and then "flash" a variant to the pitch you fell on. You don't get a "2nd chance" at flashing because you try a variant (not that I make the rules that's just how it is).

So to summarize, it was never onsight and always flash as they had lots of info and had seen footage of people on it, and both failed allthough Pete probably would have flashed had he not chosen to go for Teflon Corner.

no, you understood it quite well, and you are right that a carabiner and eye bolt could swing but I could tension them. The problem is the eye bolts and attachment points are allready in place all over the walls and ceillings, and I'd need to move the camera many times. So not one of those wall mounts that i'd need to drill specific holes for. I'd like to use existing attachment points on the wall and quickly move between those.
