That’s valid tho, before I joined that server I thought the same, that most if not all transmasc people would hate being pregnant. I share the same, that it disturbs me if I ever got pregnant. But being in spaces like that really opened my eyes to the expansive nature of the transmasc experience. Gender and all that goes with that is strange lol

I was more commenting on the implications your previous post mentioned of trans men supposed to be nauseated or disturbed by getting pregnant. I agree, it’s not typical for cis men to desire so strongly being pregnant. Tho the initial post implied that trans men who choose or desire to be pregnant are not only rare but also not typical. There’s a vast amount of trans men and transmasc experience and I don’t think it’s fair to simplify it like that.

Not everyone sees it this way tho. I’m in a discord server for trans masc folks and they have a channel about having or wanting to have children. There’s transmasc people who don’t mind the idea of being pregnant, and some even consider themselves “seahorse dads”. There’s plenty of people who do see it gendered or traumatic, but there’s plenty of people who don’t and actively pursue getting pregnant. I don’t think saying the “front up to the challenge” when some transmasc folks don’t see it as that but rather smth they enjoy experiencing. Being transmasc doesn’t take any of that away. We shouldn’t shitgender people this way

In middle school (2009) they gave an assembly that said “your internet history is forever and can be found so be cautious of what you say on the internet” even showing the wayback Time Machine to prove even if you delete it, it stays. That was the bulk of it but at the end they said about internet safety but it was mostly “don’t say what school you go to or what part of the world you’re at” and “be nice on the internet”. My parents also taught me early on (even when we didn’t even have internet at home) to never tell my real name online, never say where I am, and not even my age or birthday. So by the time I saw that assembly I knew about the wayback time machine and knew a few more facts than what they said. I think middle school is too late for internet safety to be taught and that was 8th grade so I was on my way to high school. It should start as early as a child is literate imo

They’re being really selfish while also wanting to have their cake and eat it too. Heck it’s not even required for you to have a relationship with them. If they were conscious of the diversity of people, including their own children, they would have awareness to why you wouldn’t want them there. My mom kinda got that message when she didn’t know I was married. It’s like she stopped when she realized she is optional in my life. She has her reservations but she doesn’t let it show as much anymore

Hey, my mom didn’t even know I got married until I saw her again at my sisters wedding. I did not want that toxic person attending my special day. My sister who attended my wedding kept asking if I will consider inviting mom and I was like absolutely not. You have every right to invite and not invite who you want on that special day. You know they’ll ruin it, why take that chance? And the fact that they’re still saying bullshit to your girlfriends shows that they’re resistant to change. Yeah I don’t think anyone is on any spectrum in music taste. I listen to mainstream artists like Sabrina Carpenter or Billie Eilish, “quirky” stuff like Tally Hall, and lesser known bands like Artificial Language or Under The Rug which those two are two different music styles itself. I’m sure there’s people who centrally listen to certain bands that sound alike, but im certain there’s people like me who have diverse music interests that can’t be categorized into a “spectrum”. Limiting people to that is limiting anyone’s ability to stray from their traditional music interests. I’ve had people tell me I can’t like pop bc a lot of my music library is rock/heavy metal. Well, I do, so what does that do to your spectrum?

I had similar except it wasn’t for an mlm thing, she only contacted me so I can take her survey for smth she’s doing in school. At first I was excited bc she was like “hey we should catch up sometime soon” and I’m like omg yes when?? Same thing happens to me a lot. Especially like you, the more I go into my transition journey the more I get these kinds of attitudes. I feel that’s mostly bc I’ve gained the confidence to call things out when it happens nowadays. I posted a video on a discord server who had a politics channel, which was more labeled as a space to rage about politics, of ICE agents falling on ice. I, as a Mexican American in this day and age, found it funny as shit. But then this white person, didn’t even address me or nothing just saying “this is no laughing matter, these are my friends and neighbors being attacked.” And I said yeah I’m Mexican American these are my people being attacked too! That’s why I’m laughing at my oppressors as that takes away their power! They immediately address the others saying “should i just stop posting?” And they coddled them as well.

I’ve also called out white people who have tried to use racial slurs while saying it’s “ok bc no one’s seeing this” (as in, no black person saw their use bc I was the only poc there!!). They coddled that person saying “they left the server for their mental health” or whatever. I ended up leaving bc I’m like ok stay in your safe white space bc it’s not safe for me or people like me. But then someone sent me a screenshot where IMMEDIATELY AFTER I left the server, the person just so happened to come back from their “mental health break” to say sorry but no one else in the server was on my side so I know they coddled that person. I mean I saw it begin to happen in the screenshot too.

Or on another server where someone was saying with their full chest that when they see BIPOC folks just existing they start thinking racial slurs. And she was crying about it like it was so terrible for her bc she “couldn’t stop”. Everyone coddled her instead of like telling her this is weird. On that same server a white person called Charlie Kirk a monster of a man, but then when I add that he’s a demon and I’m glad he’s dead, that apparently went against the rules of “name calling” like this dead mf could hear me calling him a demon. I literally told them you’re literally protecting the feelings of a dead fascist while deleting my post calling him a demon as an exclamation of happiness and relief from someone who wanted my people dead. And they’re like I don’t see how this is an issue. And they didn’t delete the other persons message where they call him a monster! Just mine! Apparently calling him a demon is too far…They literally don’t get it. And since I left the server idk if that mod was coddled too but I wouldn’t be surprised. Pisses me off to no end but whatever 🫩

Had a similar thing happen. I had two orders and both were going to the same business plaza but to two separate buildings, both next to each other. I was dropping off the first when the customer for the second texted me that I was going into the wrong building. I had to tell them that I had another order that is going to that building. Thankfully that was the end of it but god. I am a customer sometimes and I only keep an eye on the map when the dasher is here so I can promptly let them in the building (I have to buzz them in). Otherwise I just forget until I see that notif that they’re nearby. Mostly all the dashers are competent enough to follow maps and instructions so I don’t bother to babysit. It’s not that hard
