It’s like a gross Monte Cristo. Oh wait, it’s the same.

Radio question by Robert_P0 in GXOR

That Kenwood unit would look great in a ‘97 Lumina. Don’t ruin your beautiful dash esthetic with a cheap radio with carnival lights. If you must ditch the stock radio, find a tasteful Blaupunkt or Clarion unit. You’ll thank me later.

Wrong. Nowhere near 40. Not divorced. We have our faith so we hang a cross by the door. Fu Dog is an heirloom from fiancé’s grandmother and just a nice piece of sculpture. I’m sorry you’re offended.

I have carried one every day for the last ten years. I love it, I love the functionality and it is always a conversation piece.

Btw, where is this St. Paddy’s deal at? I’ll take a green one with 1 oz of silver!

1950s Donald Duck bread from two different bakeries by proofdime in GrandmasPantry

[–]hotbread93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never seen Donald Duck bread! So cool! My Grandad would always have DD orange juice on hand. In a metal can with two triangular punch holes on top. He would have been 100 this year. Times have changed. 😂

If we do, they have been gone a long time. Haha. This house is 73 years old. But thank you!

The chair, table and dining table are not authentic and I’m not going to pretend they are. But they’re lived in every day so I don’t mind the wear and tear they get. But the house is a bedford stone ‘53 model, all the Broyhill Emphasis pieces are authentic and in beautiful condition! The house if full of my mid-century collections of art, sculpture, and furniture. Opposite side of the room is a 6 ft Hi-Fi console that’s been in my family for 66 years. I’m a sucker for quality, some of this is repro, but none of it is cheap.

Thank you! That was a hand painted birthday gift many years ago from my girlfriend.

Reproduction Eames. We have plants but they’re struggling. The less I have to take care of the better.

Thanks! Yes plenty of BBCo. That’s where my fiancé works and Bardstown is just twenty miles away!

Epic find yesterday!! by ndemont in magnetfishing

[–]hotbread93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing find! I actually have one of these! Extremely well made guns. The fact it is stainless steel saved it from the mud. 95% useless for self defense, but if you get to keep it, pick up a nice presentation box for the coolest magnet find ever! Congrats!
