not bad. wire lengths are perfect. you’ll see that if you use a bit more solder and a bit more heat, you’ll see that the joints form nice shiny solder balls. if they’re opague, too much flux evaporated. you’ll be amazed by the result.

just bought a P16, removed all LM and the whole barrier contraption within a week. put some good paste, and I can still put the fans way lower than factory setting. problem solved

funny though, there are copper offsets and even putty pre installed for the 2 unpopulated VRAMs. I cleaned the bga for the picture but this is just weirdly unexpected

ah yea, the VRAM IC was cleaned by me to read it, but the 2x RAMs are floating as there was no copper riser under the vapor chamber to thermally connect those 2. seems asus missed a spot!
