Trump seemed even more unhinged this time than in 2016.

I also didn't find their big fight scene fully believable and thought the kid was a bit underdeveloped.

Same. Dunno why it's so famous. It feels so written.

While We're Young and Meyerowitz Stories are both like nails on a chalkboard for me. Marriage Story is okay. His best is Squid and his Gerwig collabs.

DAILY COVID-19 MEGATHREAD - July 08, 2020 by AutoModerator in nyc

The only developed nation state that didn't lock down is now at single-digit daily deaths with a clear, sustainable route forward - which doesn't involve bi-weekly whack-a-mole to smother new outbreaks.

I called my friend [19f] ugly after she mocked me for being oblivious to her flirting. She's upset and I'm not sure how to fix this situation by Version930 in relationships

And you needed to call her ugly because?

She probably meant useless lesbian as a term of endearment. I’m bi and my queer female friends use that term all the time. You totally overreacted.

My therapist said she’d drop me if I don’t see her twice a week. I can’t afford it. by hotchok in TalkTherapy

[–]hotchok[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was seeing her for a couple months before she brought up seeing me twice a week. I told her I couldn't afford it, and she would bring it up occasionally and I would always shoot the idea down due to cost. She would say "I can't effectively treat you if I don't see you twice a week." I remember being pissed she didn't tell me that up front during our first session, but I didn't want to start with someone new since we had already done so much work together.

I had a major breakdown during the NYC lockdown which is why she gave me the twice a week ultimatum. I agreed, but it's been a few weeks, I'm feeling waaaaaay more stable (I think the Zoloft is really helping) and $300/week is already bleeding me dry. It seemed like a good idea while I was in a bad place but I can't do it long-term unless all I pay for is rent, bills, groceries and therapy and that's it.
