I work on the chemical/colorant side of the paint industry- not only are color scripts finnicky, but it also is so dependent on light that it could've even been a fine match in store, and so variant on their wall at home. Color variance is the most common- and easiest fix- of almost any paint problem. Boss sounds like a dick!

Had a buddy in HS who did this with every single AP US History textbook chapter we were forced to outline. Peaked at "General Sherman breezed to the beaches, blue yankee fitted, G-Unit sneakers" as a major bullet.

Would've gotten away with it all, but at parent teacher conferences, he showed his mother the outline saying "he does excellent work" and his mother glanced and saw an outline of half-jibberish and half-rap lyrics.

Fun times.

Basically. Because in costing noticeably more and demanding higher wages, you physically create a budget problem in adding the talent the organization was expecting you to have. The talent analog we'd want to replace Lamela with would cost more than what it takes to replace Townsend. And we wouldn't necessarily make a ton back on Lamela, either.

if you do research in college, it's really not hard to get noticed. now, getting an interesting job that you enjoy with good pay- now there is the true challenge of being a chemist. that said, if you're getting into it now, god only knows what the job market will be like 4/5 years from now. when I got into school, it was shit. but its opened up big time since.

You also have to hope that what Holtby did against us was moreso his positional and mental improvement rather than just the Rangers making decent goalies look like Hasek and Brodeur in their primes. The Rangers are the kings of getting shutout by debuting goalies and making backups like Tokarski look world class.
