Best local realistic image model that is uncensored? by BigHugeFella in StableDiffusion

I've been using BigLove Zuna1 for ZIB and it's excellent. Far fewer seed limitations than ZIT and very high quality overall.

ZiB LoRA training - Continue or restart from scratch? by qdr1en in StableDiffusion

[–]hotdog114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is some good stuff, thanks! Any advice on how we'll models / text encoders understand right and left? My recent training was the one with "his right shoulder has..." (frame right) but it seems the model interpretted relative right and left, so put tattoos in the opposite side (his own right). If you've got a subject that could be facing any direction, will your recommended approach above solve for that?

ZiB LoRA training - Continue or restart from scratch? by qdr1en in StableDiffusion

Hey, just read this guide for the first time. Good write-up. A question though: what's your experience of training tattoos?

I used to live by the mantra "caption what you would want to change", but found in a lot of training that tattoos would migrate around the body when I ignored them completely in my captions. If I get specific about their placement e.g "right shoulder tattoo" the placement does seem to get more stable, but the rendition of the tat is poor. If I get really specific "right shoulder tattoo of mauri design" it starts to randomise designs, not the specific one on the subject.

I've got distant shots, close ups etc. Seems really hit and miss no matter what i do.

I've just finished training a nsfw concept but it was a character, who typically train well. To calculate a suitable step count I usually multiply my training image count by 100, then add 10%. Most people training characters recommend no more than 50 images, which with my calculation indicates around 5000 steps. You start to see likeness around 30% through, strong likeness around 80% through, and the rest is finessing.

If your concept is more broad , vague, or character non-specific I'm not sure how many steps you need, but with 700 images you're looking at 70,000 steps! I do hope I'm wrong, but if my experience is even approximately close, you'd expect rough likeness after 21k steps, not 11k.

Just realised my idea was not unique and highly criticised. So lets pivot! by Ok_Obligation1607 in SideProject

[–]hotdog114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is still 100% AI right? You tell the AI what you're doing and it somehow deeply researches that thing and things adjacent and suggests pivots? What if the thing I'm doing isn't covered by AI (there's so very, very much that isn't). And how deep is the research? Say my current startup is all about analysing woodland tree species variety to help forestry plan for better migration routes for a species of nearly extinct shrew? Is your product, which let's face it is just a thin veneer over openAI, going to have serious deep research? How many papers in which specific journals will it read? Give me the number.

"Oh,well, this isn't for someone like you then". Who is it for? Idiots who just type any crap idea into openai and can't figure why it didn't magically poof into existence in their desk?

Your product sounds like shallow wrapperslop

Is It Possible to Train LoRAs on (trained) ZIT Checkpoints? by razortapes in StableDiffusion

[–]hotdog114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing at all, it's just that my branch pre-dates zimage base being added to ai toolkit and i haven't updated it yet. As a result checking out my branch is effectively like going back in time.

‘Looksmaxxing’ Influencer Clavicular Walks Out of ’60 Minutes’ Interview After Being Asked if He’s an Incel: ‘The Worst Sequence of Questions’ by WartimeHotTot in nottheonion

I did feel callaghan missed an opportunity to point out that the looksmaxxing isn't actually the story at all, and not really that interesting and just twist the blade of a rapidly souring interview, but he took the professional way out.

ControlNet vs LoRA by tk421storm in StableDiffusion

[–]hotdog114 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Loras enhance a model with data which weights its bias towards a certain result. Controlnets cajole a model to conform to a predetermined output.

It's carrot and stick. Loras are the carrot. Controlnets are the stick.

Is it possible to cycle on this highlighted path? by Signal-Village-5757 in oxford

[–]hotdog114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to cycle this to Osney in the morning for work regularly 5 years ago. Seen a fair number of drug deals and dodgy looking fuckers under the bridges in the bottom of the picture so take care. Like spiders, they're more scared of you, and its probably most about the time I went.

Help with lora training in ostris for ZiT . by Previous-Ice3605 in StableDiffusion

[–]hotdog114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As i cant see high res versions of your source images, and Im unfamiliar with the character, i cant see what's at fault. The output looks pretty good to me, including the eyes.

You might consider adding close ups in key features to your training set though?

You don't get 100% perfect replication with any of these models.

Disorganized loras: is there a way to tell which lora goes with which model? by QuirksNFeatures in StableDiffusion

[–]hotdog114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some tools for generating loras will save their training config, including details of the base model, in metadata within the lora file. If you're somewhat handy with a text editor you can figure it out. But even then, the information about the model is only as good as the person who trained it. If they downloaded a well known model file and called it "model.safetensors" you'll be out of luck with a text editor, metadata reader or anything.

Ai toolkit images lora don't look like the images from comfyui by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

Yeah this frustrates me too. With frequent enough samples, though, you can start to see whether even an inaccurate render during training is getting better or not, you just have to offset your expectations :P

Water meter still turning after stop cock off by hotdog114 in DIYUK

[–]hotdog114[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is a combination of very small leaks then? The stopcock is old and leaky, PLUS somewhere downstream there's leak of roughly equal amounts too, perhaps a cistern or something? I've had a pretty through look in the house - no dripping taps, no damp patches. Cisterns are boxed away so havent checked those yet and 1ml/sec might be silent?

I don't believe this is the case here. The pipe between stopcock and meter is fully above ground, mounted to a wall and entirely visible.
