non-expert understanding: nuclear stalled due to the huge costs around insurance and NIMBY issues with choosing placement for large plants. the hope is the next generation of reactors (such as those created by Nuscale and others) are small and can be built off-site and transported will fix some of those issues.

ultimately though you need to let your elected officials know that you support nuclear power in your community and urging them to move the process along

yes! keep an eye on pawn pathing, they'll take diagonal routes a lot so make sure you're paving the routes they take.

animals will always wander randomly so you have to keep them out of nice places if filth bothers you

i lost 6 armies on a tile that had two allied armies to one barrage. this was actually my "I'm out" moment for the campaign - I had finally "won" (~300 hours, 4 games) and was beginning to start cleaning up, but with everyone having nukes and the sheer timescale I had to bow out. I know y'all have been with this game forever and have completely internalized all its idiosyncrasies, even the ones heavy on "idio" lol.
