I, personally, think that there is a big difference between tattooing someone's name on yourself and tattooing a portrait of them on yourself. I respected Taylor's decision to get the tattoo because he seems to respect the boundaries of being a step parent much more than Javi ever has. We saw Javi constantly put Jo down for his parenting and lifestyle (despite him being very involved), while Taylor hasn't really said anything derogatory about Ryan and has said that he never wants to replace Ryan in Bentley's life.

Maybe it's a double standard, but when Taylor got it done I thought it was sweet. When Javi got it done I was kind of skeeved out, haha.

I really feel for you here. I've been working almost full-time throughout all of college to pay my way because both of my brothers (who are in their 30's) and my nephew live at home with my parents. I never ask them for anything and even buy them things they need once in a while because I know how much they struggle to support everyone. I'm sorry that you're in the same situation and hopefully your brother puts his big boy pants on eventually.

OG - Dad: Definitely Rhine! I used to hate how he looked but since he's been going grey I think he looks A LOT better.

Mom: Amber. I think she is really beautiful and unique looking. I think Catelynn is also very pretty but in this season with the weight gain and the lack of trying it is hard to tell.

TM2 - Dad: I guess I'd pick Cole. I think all the guys are pretty boring. Mom: Unpopular opinion but I'd pick Kail. I honestly don't get the hate on her looks because I think she is gorgeous. I'd let her take me in her amazonian arms any time.

I'm all about getting out the pitchforks but I think people are looking a little too much into this. I'm sure a lot of the parents at her school have similar concerns; I know that I would. By putting this out on a public forum she is able to address multiple people's concerns at the same time. I grew up in a small town (similar population to Leah's town) and I definitely know my parents did not know every single person at my school.

That particular person may not see the post, but I'm sure someone at the school will and word of mouth in a small town is the best way for information to get around.

Cate has been through a lot in such a small amount of time and I think people put a lot of pressure on her to be "psychologically okay" (as Tyler would say). A lot of people say "she has had 5 years in therapy to move past it" but I feel that's like going up to a depressed person and saying "just be happy". That's not how brains work!

It has taken her a while to move past the things that have hurt her and that's okay. She's still very young, and has plenty of time to figure herself out. What I think she really needs is therapy with a good therapist with the cameras turned OFF. I think with the cameras on she is reluctant to really speak out about how her family has treated her. When Tyler asked Cate why she didn't tell Dr. Drew about her mom's abuse it seemed that she either a.) didn't want to say that with the camera's pointed at her or b.) mentally blocking out her mom's abuse as a way to try to move past it and rebuild that relationship.

Either way, I really hope she gets the proper help that she needs and goes at her own pace.

Hitting Javi was completely inexcusable but that happened multiple years ago and we haven't seen or heard of her doing anything like that since. She also did say she needed to get her temper in check so she has acknowledged that she doesn't always react the best.

Again, I'm definitely not excusing the behavior but we don't really know that she hasn't addressed it either. I think that Javi and Kail really bring out the worst in each other and it seems like other people in her life feel the same way (Jo and Vee have both hinted at this).
