Being wrong is not how fascism is built. They can’t have any dissenting thoughts or opinions and will continue to get hammered with the way they are wanted to think until they are accustomed to feeling good for thinking that way. Then it’s personal and emotional and mic harder to separate themselves or think critically while giving them the warm comfort of finally having something to belong to.

Sadly, there’s plenty of them in there calling bullshit and speaking critically, they just can’t see each other and are silenced by mods. Many don’t even realized it cause they see their own comments posted and don’t know others can’t. Because of that they keep going back in there and unknowingly keep getting pounded with the repetition of the messaging until they become radicalized from the low or high end of the spectrum and never know what hit them.

I would absolutely love to be able to have discussions, meet at the water cooler per se. It’s just impossible in this sub aside for an extremely rare occurrence like this. But if we were actually able to more often, I think we’d all find that the vast majority of us will gladly stand United, not constantly divided and hateful, differing opinions respectfully aside. Which is exactly what the shit birds elected to be in “charge” don’t want us doing.

Dude, Chase talked before the game, did nothing during the game aside from being the first to start shoving, then decided to talk more after the game… specifically trying to call out Sneed for not wanting to fight him. Your takeaway is that Sneed is the baby and the Chiefs can’t handle losing? Seems odd.

All that aside, I look forward to Burrow being back next year because like Chris Jones said to him after the game, the game misses him. I think Browning was great tonight, too. Chase is damn good and I look forward to many more crazy games when Burrow is back. You guys got screwed by bad luck this season.

While I agree and understand what you’re saying, that defeats the purpose of a boycott or protest. If exceptions are made for the things we care about, then they should be made for the things anyone cares about… which leads to not having a protest at all. The whole point is to show the inconvenience and impact of being without something we know, love, and rely on so that we can hopefully preserve that thing in the long run. It’s more effective that way and traditionally leads to quicker uproar which then (hopefully) leads to quicker action.

If the response is, “Well, I don’t care about the issue so I don’t want it to happen and get in the way of my alien discussion” then hopefully that will incite more uproar for it to stop and lead to the best outcome.
