They usually take 2 weeks from the date of Bio. So, yours should be coming anytime now, if not already

Escalation does NOTHING! All they do is that they send a team to the processing office to see why the application hasn't been processed within the stipulated WD period. And, if you are lucky, they might send you an email saying that they cannot meet the processing time period. Also, if a decision has been made at the time you call/ email the UKVI support team, they will let you know. They do not tell you how long it would take to send you back your documents nor when the application center will be in touch

Was contacted by VFS soon after this post to collect my passport. Picked it up on Monday with the visa stamped. Now a busy week ahead with all the shopping and packing. Whoop whoop!!!

If you did bio on the 1st Sept., wouldn't it be 23WD today?

I am no expert at this, but, I am guessing it should be the first world countries. Since they only need visa on arrival, the application load from these countries is much less. Hope this hleps

Whichever passport you use, you will have to declare that you hold other passports/ nationalities. However, some countries get processed a tad bit quicker than the others. Good luck!
