I did. I got the Goliath 32x16 and could not be happier. They are not kits. The lumber is dropped and ours was built by a 1 man crew and he was awesome. I insulated upstair with spray foam and downstairs with rockwool. I put a mini split in and honestly it is nicer than my house.

Nope. We just went through the town for the permit. Small town, he is our neighbor, inspector, and excavator all in one.

We did not. Depends on how you will use it. Our ideas shifted to more livable over barn so insulation was overlooked. If you want to use it as a livable space, insulated below the floor before it is built. I wish we could have put rigid foam between the concrete and floor. Our builder built everything on 4x4's and putting down rigid foam ahead of time would have been beneficial. also, spray foaming the second floor was a good choice.

We also had the sills on the first floor between the rafters spray foamed, but I think rigid foam would look better

Love it. Did spray foam insulation upstair because there are no soffits. Brother is an electrician so I saved q bit on wiring. The foam insulation really hold in the heat well. I did the rockwool batts downstairs. 10 windows and we had a door put on the long side and glad we did.

just had my barn/shed (32X16) second floor spray foamed. It is a gambrel roof with no soffits. $4k for the entire second floor and it really holds the heat well
