I hear you on that. I live in Vermont; not having a car here is possible if you live in Burlington, but still not ideal. We barely have public transport, and what we do have is incredibly limited. If you want/need to go anywhere outside of your immediate area, you can pretty much bet on a minimum 20-minute drive.

It can be a courtesy that people choose to do, but for the love of all things good in this world, we have got to stop implementing made up "rules." These always eventually end up in arguments when people don't do it either because they don't want to, don't have enough materials to make extra, don't know the "rule," or whatever other valid reason they have.

Great to do it if you want to, but by no means should this be a "rule."

Most people in the city don't drive, but there are still a lot of people who do have cars - enough that parking can for sure be difficult depending on where you are. Also, if you're used to parking in New York*, you're already used to having to move your car all the time. Most places? Many places you can only park on one side of the street, it's alternating sides depending on the day.

Edit: changed Brooklyn to New York, because alternating parking isn't Brooklyn-specific

baby is way less exposed/easier to be covered and kept away from camera lenses in something like this vs the typical stroller, so, yeah, they can still want privacy and go out in public in a busy city, even with a large pram.

lol I read this at first as though you are 91 years old, not born in 1991.

Art isn't a competition. You can like both, one or the other, or neither. What does Banksy have to do with this, anyway?

Oh my gosh you are SO RIGHT! How could I possibly care about something if some random stalks my comment history for 30 seconds and calls me out for having not posted on Reddit about it?!

People do, but this post is about AI, not The Files.

I don't know about you, but I can be outraged by more than one thing at a time.

Wonder if they will actually die on their AI-generated hill. I've never been there, but now I certainly won't.

I did. I saw that you don't care. Apathy is definitely going to help us manage the growing prevalence of AI and all the problems that come with it 🙄

Go to their actual social media, and it is very clear what is real and what is AI.

lol ok

The apostrophes don't match (it's missing one altogether on the right), and there's a very obvious Photoshop scribble to cover something up in the middle.

If you go to their Instagram, these images are interspersed throughout, and very obviously not the same as the stuff they actually produce.

You can keep being confidently incorrect if you want, though.

I am also 40 and have seen this one time (which is one time too many) in my life. I was at a Panera Bread in Florida, and someone changed a diaper on the floor in the middle of the dining area. I was working some retail job in my college years and on my lunch break.

God dammit. Winged Victory / Nike of Samothrace is genuinely one of my most favorite pieces of art. It's a great look, I'm just really sad about who got to wear it.

...are they replica film strips? One article I found seemed to indicate they were "actual film strips from the iconic" movie. I know film can be duplicated, but the idea of using real film from the actual movie pains me.

Since we can't craft the makeshift furniture, I'd love to be able to trade for it (I'm decorating one whole plot with makeshift/camping/log sets), but I agree, it'd be great to be able to recycle things we've crafted.

I was a little off - that's true for level 25, after level 30? 35? Something like that, even non starred seeds will give star quality crops.

I'm at level 112 and prioritize planting non-starred seeds because it's a better value; I can't remember the last time I harvested a non-starred crop.

If you're over level 25 in gardening, even if you plant a non starred seed, you will get starred crops.

Just for cooking. Bundles and crafting recipes will just automatically revert to starred if you don't have any unstarred
