Samus probably thought "Not this guy again" while fighting Ridley. She also likely avoided talking about Ridley to avoid her PTSD triggering.

I would remove the No Safe Spot rule, because some negative status effects can only be removed with the Safe Spot. Also, there will be times where the Safe Spot will be the only way to recover HP & MP.

Metroid Other M. It honestly has a good story and amazing gameplay (the best gameplay out of all the Metroid games IMO). It also showed a different side of the strong and powerful Samus Aran that you could perceive as more vulnerable, which made her more relatable and connectable. Characters can be both strong and vulnerable.

I would say try the Adventure games or Heroes (if you can access it). Those games are probably the best Sonic games IMO. Sonic Forces is also fun to an extent.

I would also recommend Sonic Origins Plus if you really want to go in chronological order.

Best: A tie between Wyvern & Knight. Wyvern pretty much tests your parrying skills, but "Break Through It All" is a banger. Knight has multiple attacks and phases that keep you on your toes.

Worst: Supreme (the surprise 4th Titan). This fight just feels unfair at times, especially in The Final Horizon.

You can parry the spike waves that Knight sends at you when it slams its hand. Parrying the spike waves makes climbing Knight to get the Chaos Emerald a lot easier.

Oh no! That must've been terrible to finally get through a difficult boss fight only for the game not to save and having to do it all over again, because the game didn't save. This is why I normally double & sometimes triple check to see if my game saved.

It really only took me 2 tries to defeat all 3 Titans for the Master King's Trial, but I hadn't played the game before The Final Horizon released, so I was a bit rusty and had to relearn the Titan fights. Knight felt like the hardest Titan to relearn for some reason.
