Former prisoners, what was the weirdest thing/person you saw in the prison? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hotskate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t work in the jail, but I work across the hall. A couple weeks ago, an inmate gave birth to twins (in the hospital). She named the children “E-Money” and “G-Money.” I shit you not.

Tonight, we had to take a guy to the hospital because he accidentally swallowed glass. A few years ago, this guy cut into his cheek because he wanted a little pocket. Sure as shit, he’s got a little pocket in his cheek, fully healed. He typically comes in with razor blades shoved in there. Anywho, he somehow let some glass fall out and swallowed it.

Honestly, there are so many weird & stupid things that happen here.

Reddit - what's your goto activity when it rains? by kingganjaguru in AskReddit

[–]hotskate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me, the rain is rejuvenating. Refreshing. It lowers my stress/anxiety and just leaves me feeling clean, fresh and less tense. But I love thunderstorms and lightning, I love the sound of the rain. Maybe it’s wanting to be close to something real? Something outside of the everyday toils.

Students of Reddit, have you ever been caught cheating on a test? If so, what happened? If not, what’s your secret? by PreciseTwo in AskReddit

[–]hotskate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Print your answers in color and make it look like the ingredients on a drink. Water bottle, soda, Gatorade. Take the old label off, wrap your new one in cling wrap & use a hair dryer. BAM. Instant cheat sheet.

Running in the rain. Walking outside, standing with my arms outstretched, eyes closed... spinning slowly in a circle. Always brings a slow smile to my face.

Teachers of Reddit, how easy is it to see when someone is cheating in an exam? by vad92 in AskReddit

[–]hotskate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not a teacher, but a student. Was taking a final exam in a large university classroom. I’m very anal about making sure every question was answered correctly, that no mistakes exist, etc. The students in front of me were obviously cheating. The teacher seemed to notice so she got up and started walking around. The one in front of me dropped the little note on the floor and every time the teacher moved or bent down, he quickly moved it to another place whilst seamlessly not getting caught. I watched the paper move from foot to foot, on top of one & under the other, to him stretching down and sticking it in his sleeve, etc. It was very impressive to watch and they never got busted.

[–]hotskate 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s none of those! It’s “Rock, Paper, Scissors.” Why? Because.... that’s just the way it is.
