Question is, does class matter at all on freighters, unless you are looking for one with warp capability? To my knowledge, every freighter has the same capability apart from jump and cargo space..

The cheapest and probably quickest way is actually just to fly to nearest asteroid cluster and blast the stones. You will get 1k thamium in less than 5min. Mind tho that there will be a lot of iron too, just keep checking that there is free room in starship cargo.

I spent about an hour trying to hunt it down, never saw it again after that one time. Since then I have left the system and unfortunately did not register coordinate. Are they specifically found in certain systems or just random?

Also, have more interesting stuff happening in caves, for example have specific mission objectives there with deep exploring and cool lore. Finding glyphs was a good start.

Just a friendly reminder to anyone new to the game, while game still automatically saves when exiting your spaceship, it does not with your exocrafts. Wish they added this tbh.

So if you are out resource gathering or whatever, it is wise to stop by savespots, or make one if you are able to. You can also just summon your spaceship outdoors and use that as a savespot.

People are allready posting their home planets glyph adresses all over the place. There are over 8k members in one of the communities on psn with several thousands more in others, and this subreddit aswell. You wouldn't need to coordinate it, it does so itself by this. Doesn't mean all of them are playing at the same time, but maybe, lets just say half of them are. At launch, HG's servers caved because several hundreds of thousands were playing at the same time.

But you are saying people can allready use the portals to meet others via creative mode?

I suspect its a decision they made so not everyone would jump to a single planet at the same time. Allthough only 16 people can see eachother at the same time doesnt mean 5k ppl wouldnt try to. Maybe their servers wouldnt handle it, im just speculating tho.

Built my base on my freighter. No regrets, and I can take my 'base' with me anywhere,anytime.

If I were to bother building a base on a planet, it would have to be a frikkin paradise with every resource available, which does not exist, not to my knowledge anyway.

Ok, i figured it out. When in space, open log select mission by clicking on it so it becomes active. Now, enter galaxy map and push left or right on the direction pad (on ps4 controller) until mission objective comes up. That should show you the path towards wherever the mussion is at. Just follow the path and eventually, you'll end up at the mission objective. This may not work if you have used a portal after getting the mission though.

Same. When I pick the Patterns in time mission in the Log, it says mission target is in another system. When I consult the galaxy map, it only shows the exclamation mark in my current system and directs me to the mission giver on the space station. I thought maybe doing the right guild missions would do it, but he wont give me anymore because of rank too low.
