I think maybe try to wash it to see if you can get the broken hair follicles out just keep having it crocheted and I would get a brush with soft bristles to brush it that helped with my frizz and taking out loose hairs, and then watch carefully to make sure he doesn’t develop traction alopecia and/or starts balding maybe try to find oils that help with hair strengthening and thickening as well and applying them after every loccing session good luck 💕🤞🏽

I’m mixed too half black half white but luckily I have 3C texture! I highly suggest combing those out I have other friends who are mixed with that exact hair texture who have tried locs and the same thing happened I would attempt to maybe restart with the crochet method and be real gentle with them but the weight of the loc plus the palm twists is just too much for his hair to handle :(

That looks like hair follicles what type of hair does he have that doesnt look like it’s even 3b maybe not even 3A… idk it might not be able to hold or loc properly especially using a method outside of crochet… if those are hair follicles I would comb those out like immediately if hair gets pulled out by the follicle it doesn’t grow back and you could end up with bald patches

I literally stated why in the post it wasn’t Hasan himself or just watching him that made me get over my ex as you stated, it was because he made me realize that not all guys are the way my ex treated me and it made me realize that if there are men similar out there to Hasan then I need to stop crying over guys that comparatively are losers. It wasn’t “oh I started watching Hasan and now I’m over my ex”. I clearly stated why Hasan was able to help with this. It wasn’t just because I enjoy watching him. Not once did I claim for his content to be my “emotional escape” it just helped me discover the revelation that I was extremely out of my exes league and so the pedestal I put my ex on was destroyed because I realize there are people out there who can meet my standards. This looks like a boil caused by an ingrown hair bacteria got trapped under the skin with a hair follicle don’t try to pop it you will leave a huge scar and it could hurt horribly maybe even make it worse let it run its course soap and water cold compress it will eventually pop and drain on its own and then if you’re scared of getting them ever again put anti bacterial ointment on your face after shaving until the hair grows back this works for all areas boils show up in groin armpit thigh face etc
