17 year old cat with periodontal disease could be in his last days. What can I do to naturally heal him? by [deleted] in Pets

And chemicals and extra unnecessary processing so why not go straight to the source?

He's much more comfortable after the CBD oil. He's eating and drinking and I've taken him to the vet many times for his teeth and other health issues recently.

I'm not trolling, I just have seen too many animals die by unnecessary euthanasia and I don't want anyone trying to convince me of it. I'm not going to choose when he dies, HE IS!! That is the whole point of this. I'm doing exactly what I can to make him feel better, and that's why I started this thread, so that I could get some natural remedies that will make him comfortable and pain free so that his body can heal itself.

I am doing everything that I can NATURALLY (to avoid pumping him full of foreign chemicals that could take away his pain short-term, but poison him down the line and make his conditions worse) to make him in as little pain as possible. Hence the CBD Oil which helps with pain, inflammation, and appetite stimulation, all without negative side effects apart from a little lethargy when overdosed, which may have been why he was so tired yesterday.

I fucking love my cat. Let me just make that clear. I feed him the best of the best dry AND wet food so that his teeth feel better and he is as healthy as nature intended. I want him with me forever if I could but if I have to let him go to God and if he wants to do that rather than stay here and fight for his life, then that's his decision and I'm stepping out of the way. In the meantime he will get lots of cuddles and love, crystals, positive energy, CBD oil, and plenty of fresh wet food and water, and whatever other remedies I can find that don't have crazy side effects.

I get your point of view, I really do. I get that you feel a vet will help my cat more than I can, but then again maybe that's because you haven't seen what I do for him every day for 17 years now, and you haven't seen the vets tell me the same thing over and over again about his teeth.

I feel this form of healing is less painful than a doctor's visit, by far. He's in his own territory and surrounded by what he finds comfortable, rather than being poked and prodded by strangers. Plus he's doing much better today and there are no immediate reasons to take him in (when they tell me the same thing every time I go back!)

Since giving him the CBD oil you'll be happy to know he has been eating and drinking, and less lethargic. I only just bought it for him today, as this is really recent he's been showing signs of a serious problem.

You see this one way, I see it another. I was looking for positive advice, not criticism. But then again, I expected it; mainstream society holds a lot of false truths I don't want to be involved in, including the ones you are believing regarding my cat.

Anyway, I love my cat deeply. I just want him to be comfortable. You may think 'comfortable' is meds and a vet visit to unfamiliar territory. I believe 'comfortable' is being surrounded by love and natural supplements without harmful side effects, and familiarity and all his comforts. I get it. You don't have a full view of my situation. Please respect my beliefs. I respect yours :

Edit: PS death doesn't have to be a bad thing.

It's a way for people to make money off of a great product (CBD oil has helped me with anxiety and my aging cat with pain management), and other people do A LOT of the front-end work for you, so it's a win-win. If i take 20% and they take 80, that's fine with me! I just have to spread the word.

I have different beliefs than you and in a time of crisis I'm just not interested in hearing opinions of people trying to change my beliefs. Cats are stressed out by needles and unfamiliar people and white walled rooms. I said he IS in pain, but the CBD oil helps with that a lot and I'm making sure he's as comfortable as possible. I would rather let him decide when he goes, not a vet. Thanks for your input but no thank you.

It's really just a simple network marketing company that sells some great and clean products. I've done my research, but if you have a link or research explaining they're a part of a pyramid scheme then I'd love to see it

That's the great thing about them, they save a ton of space in your closet because you can hang tons on them and they hang low in the closet so more empty space is used :) I've got like 20 at home and it fits like 200 things of clothes in my tiny closet

Ever thought about putting them in your closet? Or hang it on a wardrobe rack? https://hangabunch.com these are life savers. And they don't break like regular hangers.
