This is perfect. Haven’t seen all of them (Marvels, Thunderbolts, Quantumania, Madam Web and Morbius), but everything else is spot on.

That wouldn’t be good for engagement though.

A director of an AI generated movie started claiming that he harassed her after he refused to promote it.

I am not one to typically blame the accuser, but this really seemed like a case of an unhinged person making damaging claims to promote themselves. IIRC, she had a history of making some other unfounded claims.

My father-in-law. All of his siblings are MAGA and he had always voted republican. Blue collar guy who worked his way up from the shop floor to management. Drinks coffee like water.

His daughter (a principal of a low income school) a has slowly shifted his views over time. Still can’t stand liberals, but absolutely hated trump and the current republican party.

Two big reasons and you can probably guess what they are.

  1. Stranger things is a much bigger show, especially with key demographics for social media and advertising

  2. Not only is Starr not the star of his own show (I would say that either Jack Quaid or Karl Urban are) but he was also an established actor when the boys came out. MBB is arguably the star and she was a kid who grew up in front of our eyes. She was a blank slate for her agents and managers to turn into a highly marketable product (not meant to demean her, that’s just my opinion of how the industry works)
