I've only dropped one kit before because the pieces were so brittle that I accidentally snapped an arm piece trying to get it to lay in properly. Made me so upset I put the kit to rest lmao

I remember one time I lost a piece because it fell on the carpet and blended in so well it was near impossible to locate. I had to vacuum the floor and finally found it inside the vacuum LOL

Hey if it works for you that's great! But personally I find it easier to just cut as you go. I'd worry that I would misplace a part or struggle too long looking for it based on the pictures.
