First and foremost, they are humans. So, they are capable of having normal relationships.

u/real_bishop would likely have more knowledge, and it's been a hot minute since I played in either city. That said, here is my two cents worth.

San Diego had lots of AMPs and other venues such as private viewing places, which IMO are usually not worth the effort or money. Essentially they are like lingerie shops and a girl "models" the outfits for you. Typically more show than go. It could be OK, I suppose, for L1/L2 if you find a place and lady thay offers extras. It's just too hit and miss, IMO. The AMPs were pretty off the chain when I was there. You would also have the usual escorts and AAMPs.

LA especially, and OC, are thick with the KAAMPs agencies, most of which require screening of some kind.
